Cloud Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Specialist to play a pivotal part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and cost optimization for various platforms. This role will involve monitoring platform health, tracking SLAs, and resolving issues in collaboration with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform application administration tasks, including installations, connectivity, configuration, upgrades, and patching across cloud and SaaS platforms.
  • Support automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and enable 'shift-left' operational models.
  • Document processes, create knowledge base articles, and develop self-service capabilities for internal users.
  • Contribute to cost optimization efforts, performance tuning, audit activities, and disaster recovery testing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work across multiple technical domains.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to data/analytics platforms like Snowflake, BI tools, or ETL platforms.
  • Awareness of monitoring tools, automation concepts, CI/CD practices, or DevOps workflows.
