FPT Smart Cloud is seeking a skilled DataOps / Platform Engineer to join our Cloud PaaS team.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to design, build and scale mission-critical platform services powering next-generation AI and cloud applications.

As a member of our team, you will work alongside Vietnam's top cloud and data experts to shape the future of cloud-native data platforms from the ground up.

Our ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in DataOps, DevOps, Platform Engineer or Data Engineer roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design technical architecture for Cloud Data Platform services including Data Ingestion, Processing, Storage, Query, Visualization, Security, Governance.
  • Implement and integrate Data Platform components such as Kafka, NiFi, Airflow, Spark, Flink, Iceberg, Trino, Superset, dbt.
  • Build and operate CI/CD systems and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD.
  • Research and propose new technologies to optimize performance and enhance the product.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience deploying or operating at least some Data Platform services.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps using GitLab CI, Jenkins or ArgoCD.
  • BASIC understanding of Data Pipelines and Data Engineering concepts.
