FPT Smart Cloud is hiring a skilled Cloud Data Platform Engineer to join our team, where you'll help design and build mission-critical platform services powering next-generation AI and cloud applications. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of cloud-native data platforms from the ground up.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in DataOps, DevOps, or related fields, with proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture. They should also have hands-on experience deploying or operating Data Platform services (e.g., Kafka, Airflow, Spark) and strong scripting skills (Python or Bash).

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Data Platform Development: Collaborate with the team to design technical architecture for Cloud Data Platform services.
  • Operations & Managed Services: Support deployment, configuration, and optimization of Cloud Data Platform for customers.
Key Requirements

Must-have:

  • Experience in DataOps, DevOps, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience deploying or operating Data Platform services (e.g., Kafka, Airflow, Spark).
  • Strong scripting skills (Python or Bash).
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD).

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in designing or operating Data Lakehouse / Data Warehouse.
  • Knowledge of data security (IAM, RBAC, TLS, Network Policy, etc.).
