Financial Operations Specialist

Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support the accounting and financial operations of a growing multifamily real estate portfolio. This role involves collaborating closely with the accounting and asset management teams to achieve seamless operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Record and categorize transactions across multiple entities using Yardi software.
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and prepare account reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Manage bank activity: initiate, track, and confirm intercompany and external transfers and wires.
- Process payments and disbursements efficiently.
- Reconcile corporate credit card activity and ensure accurate expense tracking.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable activity across properties and entities.
- Assist with entity-level financial statement preparation and monthly close procedures.
- Support other members of the accounting team with cross-functional initiatives.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries with timely and accurate financial data.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and prior experience in real estate or a multi-entity environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Yardi are highly valued.
