Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as preparing and reconciling financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in automated financial reporting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage 50, ERP, and SAP. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile all financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Process and reconcile vendor invoices and payments
  • Perform monthly-end closing procedures and prepare journal entries
  • Conduct audits and reviews of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting operations, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage 50, ERP, and SAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
