Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized financial operations specialist to support our clients' growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online, and managing international transactions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple accounts, ensuring accurate records, and providing financial clarity that helps our clients focus on business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage QuickBooks Online including reconciliations, categorizing expenses, and invoice management.
- Clear existing backlogs of bank reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
- Generate and send client invoices, track payments, and issue reminders as needed.
- Handle international transfers via Airwallex and similar platforms.
- Manage retainer billing for select clients.
- Track and organize financial records across multiple revenue streams.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
- Proven bookkeeping experience (at least 1 year), ideally with small or creative businesses.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
- Experience handling international transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Familiarity with Airwallex or other multi-currency platforms.
- Understanding of Australian accounting/tax standards.
