Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a remote opportunity that offers the chance to work with a diverse group of professionals and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for handling finance queries, daily receipting, monthly bank reconciliation, and bank account administration. You will also be responsible for term deposit investment and maturity communication, financial reviews and report generation, and monthly cash flow forecasting and management.

  • Year-end financial checks and accrual journals
  • Financial year budget preparation
  • Issue contribution levies to owners
  • Organize audits and liaise with external auditors on audit queries
  • Onboarding and offboarding new/lost business
  • Quarterly BAS preparation and review
  • Yearly tax preparation and review
  • Process and update Management Agreements, including system updates and fee corrections
  • Review bot exception reports and complete tasks manually
  • Coordinate and manage Body Corporate loans
  • Provide explanations or relevant information to various parties
  • Attend finance meetings with external clients if required
  • Manage miscellaneous on-charging to owners
  • Process payroll and superannuation for building managers employed by the Owners Corporation
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree qualification in accounting or a similar discipline, at least 4 years of accounting experience, and experience in budget preparation. You should also have a strong understanding of financial statements, experience reviewing financial statements and communicating results to stakeholders, and proven account reconciliation skills.
