The Training Director position involves leading the process training group, developing the vision, and setting direction for the team. Responsibilities:- Lead the process training team, with full management accountability for the team's performance, including developing the vision and setting direction for the team.
- Develop innovative, thought-leading learning and talent development approaches, leveraging adult learning best practices and employing an agile mentality to training, piloting, testing, and evaluating learning solutions and performance impact.
- Leverage design thinking to strategy and implementation of personalized learning paths and solutions, anticipating training needs of the Operations teams based on performance trends.
- Partners with business leaders to ensure alignment of learning strategy with overall people and MBPS strategy, building strong key stakeholder relationships and setting vision and expectations for the training value proposition.
This role requires a creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills, able to generate options, build consensus, and execute with excellence, possessing a balance of strategic, technical, operational, and tactical leadership skills; demonstrated ability to operationalize learning best practices.
A minimum of 10 years' experience in training and development is required, with at least 7 years' management experience, specific expertise and experience in developing and implementing learning and performance solutions leveraging adult learning best approaches.
