Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our global network environment, providing proactive and reactive support for all network hardware, software, and communication links. You will work closely with project managers and other teams to integrate new clients, design and implement new offices, and integrate network technologies.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on complex problems, provide solutions, and document your findings. You will also be responsible for completing preventative maintenance activities, such as code updates and equipment upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to project managers based on requirements to integrate a network setup.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex problems.
  • Complete preventative maintenance activities, including code updates and equipment upgrades.
  • Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel, and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Ensure security and audit compliance.
  • Perform operational-related moves, adds, changes, and deletes (MACD).
  • Adhere to operational standards.
  • Comply with engineering design standards and established operational processes.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of operational documentation.
  • Provide root cause analysis for network events.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in networking technologies, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, network security, and IP routing protocols.
  • Experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routing and switching, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and wireless technologies.
  • Palo Alto firewalls.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • CCNA/CCNP certifications are required.
