Job Profile

We are looking for a skilled IT expert to manage our computer systems, servers, networks, and software applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and security of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, network devices, and software applications specific to the telecommunications environment.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform regular backups, data integrity checks, and disaster recovery measures to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with industry-specific compliance and security standards.
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support and resolution for user inquiries and technical issues related to telecommunications systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct system audits to protect against unauthorized access and data breach, taking into account telco-specific vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting steps.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Must-haves:

  • Experience in Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
  • Experience in desktop and network space.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT expert or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications-specific systems and protocols.
  • Experience with telecommunications-specific equipment and technologies.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure tailored for telecommunications.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications-specific software applications, billing systems, and customer management platforms.
  • Solid understanding of system security principles and best practices in the telecommunications industry.
Bonus Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with the team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced telecom environment.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
