Senior Reliability Professional

Seeking a talented Senior Reliability Professional to safeguard the health, performance, and scalability of our global infrastructure. This role requires applying software engineering principles to resolve operational issues, automate processes, and ensure system reliability exceeds customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will be a guardian of our production environment, working closely with distributed teams across various time zones. Their mission is to design, build, and maintain our core infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, rapid, and reliable releases.
  • Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, single points of failure, and scalability limits.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to provide deep insights into system behavior.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, leading incident response and resolution efforts.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to foster a culture of reliability and resilience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud providers, preferably AWS.
  • Deep proficiency in tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for declarative infrastructure management.
  • Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
  • Proven ability to build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with modern monitoring and logging tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language for automation and tooling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the payments or FinTech industry.
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio.
  • Experience with database administration.
  • Knowledge of networking, security principles, and compliance standards.
