System Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to implement, maintain and consolidate our global server infrastructure hosted in datacenters worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation, maintenance and enhancement of Operating Systems and monitoring tools
  • Administration of systems infrastructure on a daily basis
  • Analysis and resolution of system related incidents in a timely manner
  • Coordination of the deployment of new hardware to meet client expectations and requirements
  • Development and enhancement of system policies, procedures and controls to ensure information security guidelines are met
  • Continuous improvement in the quality and uptime of the environment through effective monitoring and analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience as a Systems Engineer with a strong background in Linux systems administration
  • Experience with Dell, HP blades and/or Cisco UCS hardware is required
  • Motivated, hardworking and exceptional attention to detail are essential for this role
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good understanding of the risks and potential impact of working on a 24/7 live environment
  • Financial Services industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Collaboration with international clients and global internal teams is necessary for success
