Account Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Collections Representative. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, proficiency in QuickBooks, and the ability to handle collections calls with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:- Contact customers with outstanding balances to collect overdue payments and update payment statuses
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, including contact dates and results
- Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) data in QuickBooks to identify overdue accounts and prioritize follow-ups
- Record collection efforts in a spreadsheet as per established guidelines
- Follow up with customers exhibiting high-risk profiles and encourage timely payments
- Refer customers for service termination when necessary, adhering to established protocols
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to report progress and address issues
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, particularly in managing AR reports and recording transactions
- Excellent spoken and written English skills for professional communication
- Previous experience in collections, customer service, or accounts receivable is highly desirable
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer interactions
- Able to work independently while adhering to established policies and procedures
