Healthcare Case Review Specialist

This is a Medical File Reviewer/PHRN position. The role involves reviewing and bookmarking medical records, creating a synopsis to answer medical opinion questions based on the veteran's medical history.
Key Responsibilities- Reviews medical records, creates synopses for medical opinion questions, and assists medical providers during scheduled appointments by remotely interviewing veterans, transcribing medical histories, and documenting physical examination findings.
- Coordinates with medical providers and team members regarding scheduled appointments and submits completed Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in the client portal.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and active PHRN license.
- Effective communication skills for assisting veterans, medical providers, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and flexibility in work schedule changes as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and technical skills to effectively manage case files and facilitate smooth communication between medical providers and veterans.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
