We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough clinical reviews of cases that do not meet established criteria. You will perform clinical intake, adjudicate requests for additional clinical information, and escalate cases to Medical Directors as needed. Your work will involve close collaboration with facility personnel and providers to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical reviews of cases that do not meet criteria
- Perform clinical intake and adjudicate (close) requests for additional clinical information
- Escalate cases to Medical Directors when necessary
- Collaborate effectively with facility personnel and providers to guarantee high-quality care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Active PRC and USRN License with 2 years Bedside Experience
- At least 2 years Triage Phone handling experience
- Preferably with ER / OR / Medical Surgical / UR / UM / Triage / ICU / Hemodialysis experience
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Good knowledge in Healthcare or Medical domain
- Ability to work on shifting schedules, including night and graveyard shifts
- Willingness to work holidays/weekends
