Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Manager to join our team. As a Collections Manager, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, live chats, emails, and text messages from current borrowers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct negotiations for the collection of outstanding accounts with a focus on professionalism and empathy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all collection matters, striving to resolve overdue accounts in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Find and implement the correct solution for each customer, whether it's adjusting a payment date, processing an early payment, or restructuring loan terms.
  • Provide excellent customer service, clearly answering questions and providing accurate information.
Requirements
  • Collections Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in collections, preferably in a contact center (BPO) environment.
  • Sales Knowledge: Background in sales is a major asset.
  • Cross Functionality: Comfortable using multiple applications and monitors simultaneously to manage account workflows efficiently.
  • Customer Service Extraordinaire: Strong active listening skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and handle challenging customer interactions effectively.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
