We are currently searching for a seasoned financial professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting practices, with a solid proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing tax filings and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Oversight and management of the entire accounting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Conduct monthly and annual closing processes, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Administration of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient processing, payment of invoices and collection of revenue.
• Preparation and filing of tax returns, both federal and state, and ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
• Development and monitoring of internal controls and policies to ensure financial data integrity and security.
• Collaboration with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices.
• Participation in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing insights and analysis for strategic decision-making.
• Implementation and optimization of accounting software and systems to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Provision of financial analysis and reports to management, highlighting key trends, variances and areas for improvement.
• Acting as a financial advisor within the organization, offering guidance on financial best practices, expense management and investment opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting for U.S. companies.
• Proficiency in financial accounting software, with a strong preference for experience in QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the U.S. and experience with financial statement preparation.
• Fully fluent in English.
• Ability to commit long-term and work full-time.
• Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time or Eastern Time).
