Learning Experience Designer Role

We are seeking a skilled Learning Experience Designer to create engaging and effective learning activities that drive results.

  • Apply industry best practices in learning technologies and instructional design to develop high-quality content.
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify required learning outcomes and target learner populations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Determine the most suitable delivery mechanisms (e-learning, virtual classroom, face-to-face) to meet learner needs.
  • Establish clear instructional end goals and craft content that matches them, driving learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • For e-learning, conceptualize instructional graphics, user interfaces, and finished products that facilitate seamless learning experiences.
  • Integrate learner interactivity (exercises, activities) to enhance the learning process and learner experience.
  • Create supporting materials/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games) that reinforce learning objectives.
  • Develop modes of assessment (tests or quizzes) to measure course effectiveness and learner attainment of knowledge and specified outcomes.
  • Identify subpar quality or outdated learning content and propose recommendations for improvement or replacement, ensuring currency and relevance.

Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Proven lesson and curriculum planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies and multimedia formats.
  • Visual design skills (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to write compelling copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Instructional Design (desired).
