Job Title: Business Development Leader
Job Description:This is a key leadership role responsible for driving business development strategies and leading a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to achieve aggressive growth goals. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of coaching and developing talent, as well as expertise in coaching and leading business development teams to success.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a high-performing team of BDRs to exceed quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Provide on-going coaching and development to ensure consistent attainment of goals across the team.
- Maintain a solid understanding of Cofense's technology stack to support the BDR team with lead follow up and pro-active outreach.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and hold daily team 'huddles' to share best practices.
- Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment and HR teams.
- Attend weekly Sales Team meetings to maintain alignment with the Field Sales team.
- Monitor the team's performance against key KPIs and drive the team forward to exceed expectations.
- Demonstrable understanding of the Business Development role.
- Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams to success.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
