We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to provide expert technical support to end users across the organization.
About the RoleThis position involves delivering top-notch technical assistance for PCs, Windows operating systems, and Apple mobile devices. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues remotely, documenting and managing support requests through our ITSM/ticketing platform, and maintaining effective communication with users to ensure prompt resolutions.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support for PC, Windows operating system, and Apple mobile device-related issues.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and fundamental network problems remotely.
- Request Management: Document and manage support requests efficiently using FreshService ITSM/ticketing platform.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with users to facilitate prompt and efficient resolutions.
- Escalation: Escalate complex incidents to senior technicians as required.
- Policies: Adhere to company policies concerning security and confidentiality.
- Conferencing: Troubleshoot audio and video issues during video conferencing sessions.
- User Onboarding: Administer new user onboarding processes by adding accounts to relevant systems, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Vonage, Dynamics 365, and HubSpot.
- User Deactivation: Oversee user deactivation procedures by removing accounts from these platforms as necessary.
- Microsoft Support: Provide ongoing support for Microsoft 365 and on-premises Active Directory environments.
