Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans for each release.

  • Own end-to-end QA processes for web and mobile applications under provider choice and FAM.
  • Collaborate closely with Sydney-based product, engineering, and design teams to understand release scopes and timelines.
  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans for each release.
  • Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and UI/UX testing.
  • Validate release candidates and approve production deployments.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using internal tools.
  • Build automated test scripts where valuable, and maintain them as systems evolve.
  • Develop and manage testing environments and data.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Be the final gatekeeper of quality before any code reaches our users.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in manual and automated QA for web and/or mobile apps

  • Proven ownership of release testing cycles in high-frequency development environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail, Playwright, BrowserStack, Postman, etc.
  • Comfortable working across time zones, with partial overlap with Sydney business hours.
  • Strong English communication (written and verbal) and proactive documentation habits.
  • Autonomous, self-directed, and rigorous - you will be our quality standard-bearer.
