Permhunt is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, transaction advisory services, or audit, with experience in acquisitions and integration of new entities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Complex Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Multi-Entity Consolidations: Manage multi-entity consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and reconciliations.
  • Closing Process Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
  • Technical Accounting: Oversee fixed assets, revenue recognition, and lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842 and other applicable standards.

Acquisition Integration:

  • Assist with financial due diligence for acquisitions, including quality of earnings analyses and integration planning.
  • Oversee the onboarding and financial integration of acquired entities into our accounting systems and processes.
  • Partner with leadership to develop financial forecasts and models for potential acquisitions.

Audit and Compliance Coordination:

  • Lead the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors during the annual financial audit process.
  • Monitor and implement new accounting standards, ensuring timely compliance and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure SOX compliance (if applicable).

Process Improvement and Leadership:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting team members.
  • Support ERP system enhancements and upgrades, including automation of complex accounting processes.
