About This Role

As a senior DevOps engineer, you'll bridge the gap between development and operations teams by automating and streamlining software delivery and infrastructure management processes.

You'll design, implement, and maintain robust deployment pipelines, ensuring application reliability, scalability, and security in production environments.

Collaborate closely with developers and IT professionals to enhance development lifecycle efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.
  • Implement continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes and tools.
  • Develop scripts to automate build, software release, application deployment, and system management.
  • Collaborate on improving engineering tools, systems, and procedures, as well as data security.
  • Conduct automated system-level vulnerability security scans and harden system and application platforms.
  • Respond to incidents and resolve issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and improve the system through updates.
  • Maintain infrastructure setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting documentation.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.

5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.

Hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Ansible, etc.

Containerization and microservices knowledge including Docker, K8S, etc.

Public cloud provider experience, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with Nginx configuration and Load balancer configuration.

Good understanding of server-side scripting and automation technology.

Experience working in agile environments on consumer-facing software products.

High sense of responsibility, strong analytical skills, ability to learn at work, and withstand work stress.

Proven ability to work cross-team, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
