The Security Management role is a pivotal position within the organization, responsible for developing and implementing an integrated security program that protects personnel, assets, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive security plan aligned with national laws and international best practices in responsible business.
  • Establish a security department guided by principles of responsible business, including respect for local communities, minimal environmental impact, and promotion of peace and stability in the region.
  • Integrate sustainability and human rights into all security operations, consistent with Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) and Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS).

Operational Security Management:

  • Manage daily site security operations including physical security, access control, surveillance systems, and response protocols.
  • Conduct regular threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments with corresponding mitigation strategies.

Regulatory Compliance and Community Engagement:

  • Maintain open communication with local communities and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Lead internal investigations of security-related incidents and submit required reports to regulatory bodies.

Emergency Response and Crisis Management:

  • Develop and update emergency response and evacuation plans in coordination with Health and Safety and Environment departments.
  • Serve as incident commander for all security emergencies, ensuring coordinated response with local authorities.
