Lead Generation and Business Development

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Generation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our President and working closely with the Business Development and Estimating teams to expand our outreach across key industries.

About the Role:
  • Conducting targeted research and data mining to identify and build prospect lists, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency in lead generation efforts.
  • Engaging with high-level stakeholders via email, LinkedIn, and phone, developing personalized outreach campaigns that foster strong relationships and drive leads through the pipeline.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the President with meeting preparation, briefings, and background research, providing critical support for strategic decision-making.
  • Working hand-in-hand with the Business Development team to align lead generation strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient resource allocation.
  • Transferring qualified leads to the estimating team with relevant project background, maintaining a consistent feedback loop between leads and estimators to ensure timely progress updates.
Market Intelligence & CRM Management:
  • Monitoring trends across target industries and identifying emerging markets or sectors for expansion, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Maintaining clean, organized CRM data—logging communications, updating lead statuses, and tagging by industry or region, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis of lead performance.
  • Developing basic reports and dashboards to track lead progress, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement and optimization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in lead generation, business development, or client outreach is preferred.
  • Strong background in conducting targeted research, data mining, and building prospect pipelines across various sectors is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior-level executives through professional communication channels is crucial.
