Job Title

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Tax Professional to support our real estate and development portfolio. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing reports under the guidance of our leadership team.

About the Role
  • Bookkeeping & Reconciliation
  1. Perform full-cycle bookkeeping tasks in accounting software for multiple properties.
  2. Reconcile bank and credit card statements, as well as transactions from rental properties and development projects.
  3. Accurately categorize transactions according to provided guidelines.
  • Tax & Compliance Support
  1. Prepare data and schedules required for Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns for review and filing by our accountant.
  2. Assist in gathering documentation for year-end tax preparation and audits.
  • Reporting & Administration
  1. Generate standard monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.) from accounting software.
  2. Update and maintain financial tracking sheets using spreadsheets.
  3. Organize and manage digital receipts and documents, ensuring they are correctly matched to transactions.
  4. Help track recurring property-related accounts (utilities, taxes, insurance, mortgages) and flag upcoming renewals or payment dates.
  5. Prepare vendor payment lists for approval.

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or junior accounting role.
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software. Experience with international versions is a major plus.
  • Experience working with international clients is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in using spreadsheets for data management and tracking. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with receipt management tools is a plus.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn under supervision.
