As a crucial member of our Revenue Team, you will play a pivotal part in delivering accurate and timely accounting within the revenue sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial processes related to revenue recognition, including data collection and consolidation into existing Excel models.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial transactions by reconciling bank and customer accounts, identifying discrepancies, and reporting to management.
  • Record accounting entries in the Enterprise Resource Planning system to reflect model outputs.
  • Post accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet accounts, ensuring full reconciliation and ageing analysis with action plans for exceptions.
  • Process other journals as directed by line managers or the Controlling team.
  • Drive a fast close / continuous close process in accounting for costs, aiming to improve operational processes and ensure 'right first time' recording of transactions.
  • Work within agreed Service Level Agreements to deliver services according to expectations.
  • Maintain continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with internal, legislative, and industry best practices.
  • Implement required changes in a timely manner and support internal and external audit activities.

We are seeking an individual with secondary education qualifications or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Shared Service Centre or Finance department.

Required skills include:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data validation and record keeping.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and reconciliation tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet established deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple reconciliation-related tasks concurrently.
