**Revenue Accounting Professional**

This is a challenging role in the Finance department that requires accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. The focus is on delivering high-quality, audit-ready financial data that reflects the company's performance and supports key strategic decisions.

The Revenue Accountant position is essential to managing the operational and technical aspects of revenue recognition. Key responsibilities include reviewing customer contracts, performing revenue allocations, maintaining revenue schedules, and supporting monthly and quarterly closes. Additionally, the role will help build scalable processes as the business continues to grow and expand globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations, including those related to revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled receivables.
  • Assist with revenue reporting and analysis by monitoring customer usage.
  • Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition principles under ASC 606.
  • Assist in the order to cash process, reviewing submitted sales orders in our accounting system to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA/CIMA qualified or progress toward certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in SaaS revenue accounting with a focus on ASC 606 (desirable but not essential).
  • Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, CPQ).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
