Job Overview

As a healthcare IT professional, this role involves implementing and supporting PACS/RIS systems to enhance patient care and streamline clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy PACS/RIS solutions that meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients.
  • Develop and maintain interface mappings between HIS/EMR and imaging modalities to ensure seamless integration and data exchange.
  • Configure DICOM protocols and services to optimize image transfer and retrieval.
  • Analyze system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain high levels of reliability and uptime.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in PACS/RIS implementation and support.
  • Strong knowledge of DICOM protocols and services, including C-FIND, C-STORE, and MWL.
  • Practical experience with HL7 v2.x messaging and interface configuration.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate multiple systems, including HIS, EMR, and imaging modalities.
  • Solid understanding of networking, server environments (Windows/Linux), and basic SQL.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
