Key Position: Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented collections professional to fill this critical role. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills in English, experience using financial software, and the ability to professionally handle customer interactions.

The primary objective of this position is to contact customers with outstanding balances, record interactions and outcomes, analyze Accounts Receivable (AR) data in financial systems, and take appropriate actions to reduce delinquent accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers from a provided list to collect overdue payments and update payment statuses.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, including contact dates and results.
  • Analyze AR data in financial systems to identify overdue accounts and prioritize follow-ups.
  • Record collection efforts in a spreadsheet as per company training and guidelines.
  • Follow up with customers red-flagged for aging outstanding balances and encourage timely payments.
  • Refer customers for service termination when necessary, following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to report progress and issues.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills for professional communication.
  • Proficiency in financial software (experience in managing AR reports and recording transactions).
  • Experience in collections, customer service, or accounts receivable is beneficial.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
  • Detail-oriented and able to accurately document customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and collection guidelines.
