Database Expertise Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced database expert to join our team. This role will involve managing and optimizing MariaDB clusters, administering Ubuntu Linux servers on Azure VMs, and managing and optimizing Azure resources.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and optimize MariaDB clusters for high availability.
  • Administer Ubuntu Linux servers on Azure VMs, including patching, tuning, and automation.
  • Manage and optimize Azure resources, including Traffic Manager, load balancers, and networking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a MySQL or Maria DBA (cloud or hybrid).
  • Strong skills in MariaDB clustering and replication preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure administration experience.
  • Performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery know-how.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools.
  • Experience with security compliance in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of large-scale, high-availability systems.
