Business Recovery Executive

Job Summary

The Business Recovery Executive is responsible for leading a team of recovery specialists to ensure the effective management of delinquent accounts. They provide strategic guidance on implemented strategies and identify areas for improvement. The jobholder ensures that high-risk accounts are within desired parameters and oversees compliance and performance of outside agencies through regular review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies to ensure efficient recovery operations
  • Participate in regular review of agency performance and comparative analysis of debt handling by different agencies
  • Acquire ownership of seriously delinquent accounts and practice proactive agency management
  • Supervise recovery specialists to ensure targets are met, accounts under litigation are properly handled, and results of collection efforts are monitored
  • Coach and direct team members towards goal accomplishment, monitor delinquency levels, and minimize credit losses
  • Create analytics on strategic and operational initiatives, including monitoring and program review and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance of Visayas-Mindanao agency sites through regular visitation
  • Maximize collection/recovery
  • Assist customers in drawing and finalizing payment arrangements
  • Implement litigation to achieve maximum collection effect
  • Reinforce service standards in all interactions with cardholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree holder preferably from a business course
  • At least 3 years of collections experience in recoveries preferably from a credit card company bank or collection agencies
  • At least 2 years people management experience preferably handling a collection recoveries team
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications: Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge on collection system and policies/procedures is an advantage
