Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team in preparing and implementing comprehensive financial plans for clients. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of insurance products, and the ability to work closely with advisors to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist advisors in creating detailed financial plans tailored to individual client needs
  • Conduct thorough research on insurance products, financial concepts, and relevant legislation to ensure accurate advice is provided
  • Analyze complex financial data to prepare comprehensive reports supporting the development of financial plans
  • Collaborate with advisors to identify suitable investment strategies based on client goals and risk tolerance
  • Present and review financial plans with clients during meetings, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
  • Gather necessary financial information and documents from clients to support the planning process
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in legislation affecting insurance products
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role within the insurance industry
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
