The job purpose of a Senior Route Planner involves leading efficient and timely transportation operations through effective route planning and coordination. This role aims to optimize delivery schedules, minimize costs, and enhance overall logistical efficiency by strategically planning routes and managing fleet resources.

D UT I ES AND RES PO N SI B I L IT I ES


• Ensure Senior Route Planner strictly adhere to Transport Procedures.


• Ensure to strictly follow parameters for the routes planning process


• Create route plan strategically based on the given resources


• Communicate final route plan to In - House and Subcon Trucker


• Coordinate timely arrivals of In House Trucks and Subcon Trucks at the warehouse;

communicate with team if delays occur.


• Regularly communicate with team to track location and arrival status.


• Ensure to schedule Supplier pick up upon request.


• Ensure to schedule items for pick up for pull out process.


• Provide delivery updates to agents upon request.


• Contact agents regarding any customer or item-related concerns during route planning.


• Notify team promptly of any additional delivery information or changes.


• Submit night operation report before end of shift.


• Collaborate with supervisors to address major concerns or issues.


• Lead strategic planning and provide improvements for route planning process.


• Maximize automated systems and tools to provide route planning efficiency.


• Coordinate resolution of truck problems with Transport Dispatcher/Operations Team.

The candidate must possess the following:


• 1-2 years experience in route planning.


• Must maintain a positive working attitude.


• Ability to effectively manage personnel.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Capable of working well under pressure.


• Proficient in quickly solving problems.
