Key Financial Planner Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled financial planner to support our financial planning team in a remote role.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

  • Prepare SOAs and ROAs in line with compliance requirements.
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.

This is an independent contractor engagement that requires collaboration with financial advisers and strong written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial planning or paraplanning role.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic (experience with Intelliflow is an advantage but training will be provided).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
