Financial Planning Role

The position of Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for managing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of a company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Financial Reporting involves analyzing financial data to provide insights into project performance. It also entails creating reports to track financial progress and make informed decisions.
  • Financial Status per Project requires monitoring and analyzing financial information to ensure that projects are running within budget and on schedule.
  • Budget Management includes preparing annual budgets, monitoring monthly expenses, and adjusting budgets as needed.
  • Financial Analysis involves conducting in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. This analysis informs business decisions and strategy development.
  • Management Financial Reporting involves creating comprehensive financial reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Accountancy or a related field is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in finance and/or accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a financial planning and analysis role.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and manage time efficiently.
  • Results-oriented individual with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and QuickBooks, with knowledge of accounting systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
