Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Financial Strategist to spearhead our financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and forward-thinking financial planning. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and monitor comprehensive budgetary plans, forecasts, and financial models.
    • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting and Reporting
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
    • Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes.
    • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Compliance and Audit
    • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
    • Develop team skills and improve departmental efficiency.
  • Strategic Financial Support
    • Provide insightful recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
    • Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management
    • Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
    • Oversee investments, banking relationships, and funding arrangements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting
  • 2+ years in management budgeting and projections
  • Proven track record in managerial or controller positions
  • Cashflow management
Skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks online, Quickbooks desktop) and advanced Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
