Product Planning Specialist

About the role:

We are seeking a Product Planning Specialist to join our ambitious team. The Product Planning Specialist will play a critical role in the business process, working cooperatively with both internal and external clients to ensure exceptional customer service and sales support.

The successful candidate will be an integral member of our team and contribute to our leadership position as a global powerhouse in Discretes, Logic and Power MOSFET technology.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Manage the integral supply chain to match demand and supply, using master planning systems.
  • Sales and Operation Planning Support: Collaborate with capacity planners on the S&OP process.
  • Review Resource Loading: Review resource loading situations impacting S&OP.
  • Order Fulfillment: Be responsible for fulfilling customer sales orders, customer programs forecasts and safety stock replenishment.
  • PO Management: Plan and release feasible plans to manufacturing sites, fulfilling demand and loading policy. Monitor and control supply deviation.
  • Business Alignment: Communicate with business units to align business strategy based on demand and supply situations.
  • Exception Management:
    • Tight Supply: Collaborate with business units and customer service to prioritize production and prevent customer line downtime.
    • New Product Introduction: Support new product introductions.
    • Returns Management: Support and arrange returns (quality, technical, logistics and commercial) according to relevant procedures.
  • Improvements / PDCA:
    • KPI Review: Regularly review KPIs and initiate improvement activities if targets are below expectations.
    • Project Participation: Participate in projects.
