Senior Product Development Manager

  • ,
  • Lead product development and business enhancement from conception to launch, focusing on strategy, leadership, and platform growth.,
  • Develop and lead strategic planning projects for Engineering and Business, including third-party integrations, marketplace growth, eCommerce technology, and business projects such as General Ledger replacements and department tool enhancements.,
  • Streamline and automate processes across the company, improving operational efficiency.,
  • Continuously improve platform and toolset features, driving innovation and growth.,

  • ,
  • Facilitate discussions with internal and external stakeholders to gather comprehensive product requirements and feedback.,
  • Capture high-level product requirements and translate them into detailed, actionable tasks for the development team.,
  • Proactively identify and assist in prioritization based on Level of Effort (LOE) and / or Return on Investment (ROI).,
  • Collaborate closely with Business Departments to aid in the design and development of technology-based process improvements to drive automation.,
  • Facilitate effective project completion across all stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution.,
  • Proactively identify and assist in the resolution of underlying conflicts, competing priorities, and roadblocks.,
  • Work closely with the business to cultivate an overall technical understanding of the platform, acting as a bridge between technical capabilities and business needs.,
  • Manage technology development efforts while bridging the gap to business re-engineering, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.,
  • Enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency by learning solid understanding of business and technology workflows.,
  • Advocate for technical capabilities and business needs to drive informed decision making.,
,Required Skills and Qualifications,
  • ,
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) and a minimum of 5 years of related PM experience, ideally with eCommerce knowledge.,
  • Demonstrated understanding of various eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Database systems, and reporting platforms.,
  • Proven ability to document product requirements with sufficient knowledge, detail, and clarity for technical teams.,
  • Strong experience performing thorough requirements analysis through independent research and testing methodologies.,
  • Expertise in utilizing modern Project Management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.,
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, Kanban, GAP Analysis, SWOT Analysis, and other relevant project methodologies.,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts clearly and persuasively to business audiences.,
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving complex challenges.,
  • Proven ability to work effectively and interdependently within a dynamic team environment.,
  • A strong inclination to challenge the status quo and contribute innovative ideas that drive business strategy and growth.,
  • Direct client-facing communication experience, demonstrating the ability to manage expectations and gather feedback effectively is desired but not mandatory.,
