Procurement Specialist II

This role involves planning, sourcing and expediting materials, commodities from approved vendor lists locally and overseas. The Procurement Specialist must ensure timely delivery of materials from suppliers and meet quality requirements.

  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with local and overseas suppliers.
  • Execute cost reduction initiatives and maintain supplier scorecard programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a general knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent; 2+ years working experience
  • Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent; 5+ years working experience

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to multi-task and use ERP estimating systems.
  • Providing excellent communication skills and interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining attention to detail and exceptional organization and follow-up skills.

The successful candidate will be able to work in a manufacturing environment and perform physical demands such as kneeling, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling and grasping. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
