Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller Assistant to support our team in the efficient management of financial activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports;
  • Liaise with fund managers, brokers, and custodians to communicate financial information and resolve issues on a timely basis;
  • Perform various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations;
  • Support the monitoring and delivery of finance-related key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Calculate management fees, equalization charges, and performance fees in accordance with the requirements of the key documentation;
  • Perform any additional responsibilities that may be required in the support of ongoing financial management and development;
  • Ensure relevant financial information is provided to the treasury, depositary, and fund manager;
  • Develop and implement best-practice use of private equity accounting software, reporting, and other tools.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in asset management (preferably in fund houses, fund administrators, or the Big 4);
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Word;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work in an international team environment;
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude;
  • A strong interest in learning and developing a career in financial administration.
