Financial Controller Position">

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing controllership activities associated with period end close and finance reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring that financial reports are completed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. This includes preparing monthly financial reports and trend reports, as well as preparing, analyzing, and posting general ledger journal entries.

Additionally, the Financial Controller will be responsible for calculating, posting, and analyzing monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring that all items are accurately captured. They will also review and reconcile inter-company accounts, involving communication with other business locations worldwide.

The Financial Controller will work closely with management and other departments to provide information and support as needed. They will also be responsible for collaborating with external audit staff for periodic year-end review procedures and local statutory audits as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an accounting qualification, such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. They will also have 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a shared service center and multinational corporation background.

The Financial Controller should have strong English written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work alone to understand and summarize financial data into high-quality, accurate, and usable summaries.

They should also have strong computer skills, especially in MS Office, with proficiency in Excel. Additionally, they should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
