Senior Controls Professional

Key responsibilities include supporting the effectiveness of existing controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. This role also involves driving and managing controls enhancements focused on increasing efficiency and reducing risk.

Individuals in this position will assist in the execution of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and adherence with Risk Management and Compliance Policies. They will also help oversee the MCA program, including attestation, quality oversight and related reporting.

This role requires strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes. It also demands strong verbal and written communication skills to engage at the senior management level.

Some key qualifications include a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities
  • Support the assessment of existing controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Drive and manage controls enhancements focused on increasing efficiency and reducing risk.
  • Assist in the execution of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and adherence with Risk Management and Compliance Policies.
  • Oversee the MCA program, including attestation, quality oversight and related reporting.
  • Help assess activities and processes to strengthen risk management quality.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive corrective action plans.

  • Proven experience in control-related functions in the financial industry.
  • Ability to identify, measure and manage key risks and controls.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes.
