Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support our Engineering teams in building high-impact software and features that deliver value to customers. This role involves guiding scrum teams, helping clear blockers, and ensuring they have what they need to be successful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate effective team communication by encouraging open dialogue and active listening.
  • Keep all parties informed of project progress through regular updates and reports.
  • Provide timely feedback to stakeholders on project milestones and achievements.
  • Champion agile values, principles, and practices within the organization, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Onboard, train, and mentor scrum team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies such as stand-up meetings, sprint meetings, retrospectives, and ensure they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Help Product Owners refine product backlogs by providing guidance on prioritization and goal-setting.
  • Remove roadblocks hindering team progress by identifying and addressing issues promptly.
  • Adjust Agile practices for better software delivery by continuously evaluating and improving processes.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master role or similar position.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
  • Agile Scrum Master Certification is preferred but not required.

As a servant leader, this individual should be proactive, an excellent communicator, and a problem-solver who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
