Job Title: Agile Practice Facilitator

The Scrum Master plays a pivotal role in facilitating agile practices and fostering a collaborative environment where cross-functional teams can thrive.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles, tailored to the needs of software systems.
  • Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
  • Act as a servant leader by identifying and resolving roadblocks related to software projects and operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address dependencies and challenges impacting system functionality or project timelines.
  • Encourage self-organization and accountability within the team, particularly in resolving software-related issues.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure that backlogs for software systems are properly groomed and prioritized.
  • Foster effective communication between the development team, business stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
  • Mentor team members on agile best practices and empower them to take initiative in managing and enhancing software functionality.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as system uptime, response times, and cycle time to measure team performance and system success.
