Job Opportunity: Senior SEO Content Strategist

Hire Digital seeks a Senior SEO Content Strategist to lead both technical SEO and editorial content strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker who can integrate SEO insights, audience data, and content planning to drive measurable organic growth.

The ideal candidate excels at integrating SEO insights, audience data, and content planning to drive measurable organic growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting technical audits and implementing on-site improvements to enhance site crawlability, speed, and indexation.
  • Optimizing website architecture, metadata, and internal linking structure to improve organic visibility and user experience.
  • Tracking and reporting on SEO performance across key KPIs using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Looker Studio.
  • Collaborating with web developers and stakeholders to implement technical recommendations and structured data improvements.
  • Monitoring algorithm changes and adjusting strategies accordingly to maintain search performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical SEO Audit: Conduct thorough technical audits to identify areas for improvement and implement on-site enhancements to boost site crawlability, speed, and indexation.
  2. Websites Architecture Optimization: Optimize website architecture, metadata, and internal linking structure to improve organic visibility and user experience.
  3. SEO Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on SEO performance across key metrics using industry-leading tools.
  4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with web developers and stakeholders to implement technical recommendations and structured data improvements.
  5. Algorithm Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain search performance.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in SEO strategy and content marketing, preferably with agency or editorial brand experience. They will also be proficient with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, BuzzSumo, and content planning platforms.

  • Demonstrated success optimizing websites and scaling SEO content in B2C sectors such as travel, lifestyle, or finance.
  • Deep understanding of audience intent, content mapping, and storytelling within SEO frameworks.
  • Experience creating editorial strategies informed by SEO, competitive analysis, and cultural trends.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide writers, designers, and developers.
