Project Management Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled project management specialist to oversee the coordination and execution of electric vehicle charger installation projects. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will act as a bridge between internal teams, utility companies, permitting authorities, and clients, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is accurate. They will also manage project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure tasks are delivered on schedule.
  • Liaise with utility companies and municipal permitting departments to facilitate seamless communication and documentation.
  • Track permits, applications, and approvals, escalating delays when necessary.
  • Prepare and review project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Verify installation readiness, including utility upgrades, permits, and material availability.
  • Provide technical input leveraging electrical knowledge to collaborate with engineers and inspectors.
  • Communicate project status and timelines clearly with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination/management within electrical, construction, or utility sectors.
  • Strong familiarity with electrical systems and ability to interpret one-line diagrams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management software is a plus.
Work Arrangements:

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST, with the flexibility to work 100% remotely.
