Exciting Opportunity for Power Systems Experts

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our pioneering team, you will be responsible for performing and directing activities for power system studies in various modeling environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing generator performance standard studies compliant with schedule 5 of the national electricity rules.
  • Preparing technical reports for the generator connection process, including generator performance standard studies, registration, and compliance testing.
  • Designing and managing projects, developing cost-effective engineering solutions, and controlling project timelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
  • 3–5 years' experience in full end-to-end delivery of multi-discipline complex high voltage grid connection projects.
  • Background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment.
  • Strong HSEQ focus and passion for delivering strong results in areas of commercial performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient multi-tasker with a friendly, positive, can-do attitude.
  • Experience using PSCAD Software.
