Property Valuation Specialist

About This Role

This position involves conducting financial analysis, market research, and preparing detailed reports to support investment decisions. We are seeking a skilled Property Valuation Specialist to assist our team in making informed business choices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze real estate data from various sources, including databases and external partners, to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Evaluate the performance of real estate investments, including acquisitions and developments, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess property performance and returns on investment.
  • Research market trends, property data, and comparable sales/rentals to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for leadership and clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Support due diligence efforts by reviewing leases, financial documents, and other relevant materials.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Real Estate Analyst or similar role, preferably with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • A degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Real Estate is highly desirable.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word are essential, with expertise in financial modeling being a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, combined with independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with FileMaker Pro and internet searching skills is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of real estate terminology and metrics, such as cap rates, net operating income (NOI), and internal rate of return (IRR).
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
