Accounting Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the completeness of checks sent out for clearing, calling back transactions for the day, encoding accounting entries in the General Ledger System, and generating accounting reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and ensure accuracy of financial documents and records
  • Monitor and process daily transactions, including cash and bank deposits
  • Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and journals
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports and statements
Requirements:
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Accounting; experience not required
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
